Energy Explorers

Interactive demonstrations will showcase electricity and magnetism as two types of energy. Explore the difference between static and current electricity with a Van Der Graff generator, experiment with magnets to produce motion, and then engineer your own circuits to power a variety of motors and lights.

Target Grades: 4th-6th

Program Time: 1:30-2:30

Regular museum hours are 9 am- 5 pm.

Prices include Museum admission and program fee. NC Sales tax is applied to admission.
