If you recognize cardinals and bluejays, but can’t tell a black-capped chickadee from a white-breasted nuthatch, here’s the class for you! Discover what makes a bird a bird, learn to identify a variety of local birds by sight and sound, and snap a personal photo with Huey, our blue-and-gold macaw!
Bring binoculars if you have them. Every individual registrant or family group will receive a copy of NC Birds: A Pocket Guide. Recommended for ages 8 and above.
Members: $10; Non-members: $12. Register no later than May 17.
