July 24 - 28
Thanks to a special partnership with Northwest AHEC, Kaleideum North will be offering a weeklong camp July 24 - 28 for 7th-8th grade students. Kaleideum members are $190, and nonmembers are $220. Scholarships are available with a teacher’s recommendation. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please contact Kelli Isenhour at (336) 714-7106 or firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a separate application form.
Would you like to be an EMT or medical doctor one day? We will do role-playing scenarios to come up with solutions for potentially life -threatening situations. You will learn basic first aid, water safety, and steps to take until help arrives. We will tour an ambulance, and go behind-the-scenes when we visit local medical facilities. During this camp, we will meet the individuals that go from rescue to recovery every day.
